This Community Service Volunteer opportunity is for youth 14 and over. This course is to provide youth from disadvantaged communities with opportunities to work directly inside disadvantaged communities. Youth must complete a total of 50 hours and be flexible. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon satisfactory attendance and submission of requirements.
This program is dedicated to building up youth participants as ambassadors, leaders and proud members of their communities. Our mission is to promote positivity, community pride, and unity within neighborhoods for the youth and disadvantaged people of Los Angeles by providing them with the opportunity to participate in improvement projects citywide, working with City Officials, block clubs, neighborhood groups and other nonprofit organizations. We aim to be a community support system for the city of Los Angeles.
