Walk to Save Black Men’s Lives
Taking strides for a healthier community at the walk, and we're proud to be part of the movement! URU was on-site as a vendor, raising awareness for Black men's health. Join us in spreading the good word and building a stronger, healthier tomorrow together.

Giving Thanks; Thanksgiving event
This month, URu is dedicated to our Thanksgiving project, collaborating with the community and partnering with various organizations to provide warm, home-cooked meals for those in need. We're putting in the effort to make this Thanksgiving a time of unity and generosity.

SPA 6 Homeless Connect Day
An event right in the heart of Los Angeles, where URU was a vendor at a Resource Fair providing free services and entertainment to the community.
Here URU managed to connect with various organizations that offer housing resources. Thanks to that, we now have various programs on hand to offer to participants and walk ins that enter our office looking for housing opportunities.

Vermont Square Garden Reopening/ Clean up
Ultimate Restoration aided the community in starting their own neighborhood garden.
The garden is full of overgrown weeds and rotting plants so with our volunteer team we will be clearing our the garden beds and getting them prepped and ready for community members to begin planting prosperous veggies and produce.

Bring a Brotha to Breakfast
URU celebrated our Chief operations Manager, Steven Richard. Who was chosen to be awarded the Warrior Award at the Bring a Brotha to Breakfast event.
This was an event done by the Sisters@Eight Organization that honored the many men that have stepped forward to help their community.

Take Action Mental Health Event
A resource Fair that URU attended celebrating Father’s day for those in the South Los Angeles area.
Distributing Resources to families hat came to attend and also supporting the walk in memory of two women of color who passed away during child birth.
A resource Fair where URU connected with fellow community members and provided numerous resources to aid in housing, mental health, job opportunities, and much more.

99th Street Block Party
URU actively participated in the setting up and organizing this block party. Teaming up with other non-profits so they may set up booths to showcase their services and engage with the community.
These organizations encompassed various sectors, including healthcare, employment, housing, social services, environmental initiatives, and more.
This event was dedicated to improving the well-being and quality of life of South LA residents, as well as bring in enjoyment and festivities to their homes.
