DESCRIPTION:
The Environmental Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the environmental services program, ensuring all worksite activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with program goals.
This role is both leadership-focused and hands-on, requiring an active presence at work sites while directly supporting, training, and supervising program participants. The Coordinator ensures crews are prepared with the proper tools and materials and is responsible for transporting participants and equipment to and from multiple work sites as needed.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Experience in environmental work, sustainability, community beautification, and urban greening.
Experience managing a program with participants, volunteers, or crews.
Experience in non-profit work or working with economically disadvantaged communities.
Understanding of worksite safety practices.
Ability to train participants on environmental service tasks and safety procedures.
