Together, our efforts inspire and support people to not only plant and care for trees but also address broader community needs. URU's commitment to mental health, housing, employment, food distribution, etc complements our vision for a greener, shadier, and water-secure city.

Water talks

WaterTalks and URU, a dedicated resource center, collaborate to foster community involvement in designing a sustainable water future for California. Together, our focus centers on understanding the strengths and opportunities within 128 communities in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, facing ongoing economic and environmental challenges. Through our joint efforts, we work towards building a more resilient and water-secure future for the region, placing the well-being of our communities at the forefront of our shared mission.

Black Women For Wellness

In a powerful collaboration, URU, a dedicated resource center, partners with Black Women For Wellness to champion the health and well-being of Black women and girls. Our shared mission revolves around empowering the community through health education, advocacy, and essential support services like mental health, housing, employment, and food distribution. United in purpose, we are determined to forge a more equitable and resilient future, fostering empowerment, awareness, and improved access to resources that elevate the health and well-being of Black women and girls throughout California.

LADOT

LADOT proudly showcases various initiatives that prioritize enhanced mobility, safety, and accessibility for both residents and visitors. With the added collaboration of URU, LADOT strives to create a seamlessly interconnected transportation network that caters to the evolving needs of the city's diverse population.

City Plant

City Plants, a unique organization, operates at the heart of a powerful collaboration that involves the City of Los Angeles, seven other non-profit organizations, community members throughout the city, and LA's business community. In this collective effort, URU stands as a proud partner, contributing to the shared vision of fostering a greener and more sustainable Los Angeles.

Brotherhood Crusade

Brotherhood Crusade, a dedicated non-profit organization, tirelessly addresses the needs of underserved populations in South Los Angeles. In a powerful collaboration, URU joins forces with Brotherhood Crusade to strengthen their collective efforts and create positive change in the community.
